Conceive Plus testimonial

Dear all, just wanted to share my enormous joy in finding out that I am pregnant!!! After 3 months of unsuccesfull trying, last month i used together: 1) CLEARBLUE FERTILITY MONITOR (which indicates your high fertility days and also your 2 ovultation days, and we had intercourse right then), plus 2) SASMAR CONCEIVE PLUS, a sperm friendly lubricant. They worked and now I am pregnant! Before we used normal lubricants and did not use a fertility monitor, so i defintely recommend the use of MONITOR+CONCEIVE PLUS to get pregnant :-)) Boots sells both of them (monitor 100£ and lubricant 15£). BEST OF LUCK!!!! (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110711023829AA1cn7R)

Can sperm-friendly lubricants like Conceive Plus actually help me get pregnant?

Yes, sperm-friendly lubricants can support conception by maintaining vaginal moisture without harming sperm motility, unlike standard lubricants that may impede sperm movement. Conceive Plus is FDA-cleared and has been recommended by fertility clinics across the US as a safe option to use during intercourse when trying to conceive. However, lubricant alone is not a fertility treatment—it works best when combined with other conception strategies like timing intercourse during your fertile window.

How does a fertility monitor help increase chances of pregnancy?

Fertility monitors like Clearblue track hormonal changes (LH and estrogen) to pinpoint your two most fertile days and confirm ovulation, allowing you to time intercourse precisely when conception is most likely. Studies show that targeted intercourse during the fertile window significantly improves pregnancy rates compared to random timing. Using a fertility monitor removes guesswork and helps you understand your unique cycle patterns.

Is Conceive Plus covered by insurance in the United States?

Most health insurance plans do not cover fertility lubricants like Conceive Plus since they are over-the-counter products classified as medical devices rather than prescription medications. However, some flexible spending accounts (FSAs) or health savings accounts (HSAs) may allow you to use pre-tax dollars to purchase FDA-cleared fertility products. It's best to check your specific plan's coverage or contact your insurance provider directly.

How long should I try to conceive naturally before seeing a fertility specialist?

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommends that women under 35 trying to conceive should see a fertility specialist after one year of unprotected intercourse, while women 35 and older should seek evaluation after six months. If you have known fertility concerns or irregular cycles, it's appropriate to consult a specialist sooner. A fertility evaluation can identify any underlying issues and help create a personalized treatment plan.

What is the best time in my cycle to use Conceive Plus?

Conceive Plus should be used during your fertile window—typically the five days before ovulation and the day of ovulation itself, as identified by ovulation tests, fertility monitors, or cycle tracking apps. Using it during this critical period maximizes the chances that sperm will be present when the egg is released. You can use an ovulation calculator or

Are there any side effects or risks from using sperm-friendly lubricants?

Conceive Plus is FDA-cleared and generally considered safe with minimal risk of side effects when used as directed; some users may experience mild irritation if they have sensitivities to the ingredients. The lubricant is osmolality-balanced to maintain vaginal pH and does not harm sperm, making it compatible with conception efforts. If you experience any unusual symptoms or have concerns, consult your healthcare provider.

Can I use regular lubricant while trying to get pregnant?

Standard lubricants are generally not recommended when actively trying to conceive because their osmolality and pH can harm sperm motility and survival. Many common lubricants create an inhospitable environment that may reduce your chances of pregnancy compared to using no lubricant or a sperm-friendly alternative. If you need additional lubrication, fertility-specific products like Conceive Plus are designed to support sperm function rather than hinder it.
