Conceive Plus review

“When you are trying to have a baby, you are probably willing to try anything. You’ve also probably searched Google for what you can do. Supposedly, K-Y can “slow sperm down”. I’m not a doctor, but sure, sounds reasonable. This Conceive Plus is supposed to not be as thick and there for doesn’t slow them down. I don’t know if it really played a huge part in us getting pregnant, but we did get pregnant while using it versus the “other stuff”. For us, it didn’t feel any different than the other stuff. It wasn’t as sticky which was nice. Feeling was the same when using it and didn’t cause and strange sensation down there. It also seems like a small bottle but it lasts forever.” Verified Product Review

How does Conceive Plus differ from regular lubricants like K-Y when trying to conceive?

Conceive Plus is specifically formulated as a fertility-friendly lubricant that mimics the consistency and pH of natural cervical mucus, whereas regular lubricants like K-Y are thicker and can potentially impede sperm motility. The thinner consistency of Conceive Plus allows sperm to move more freely through the reproductive tract without being slowed down. Additionally, Conceive Plus is isotonic and pH-balanced to support sperm survival, unlike conventional lubricants designed purely for comfort.

Is Conceive Plus FDA approved and recommended by fertility doctors?

Yes, Conceive Plus is FDA cleared and is recommended by doctors, pharmacists, and fertility clinics in more than 60 countries, including the United States. It does not require a prescription and can be purchased over-the-counter. Many American fertility clinics recommend Conceive Plus as part of a natural conception strategy.

Can using the right lubricant actually help you get pregnant faster?

While the lubricant itself doesn't cause pregnancy, using a sperm-friendly lubricant like Conceive Plus can remove a potential barrier to conception by not inhibiting sperm movement. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) acknowledges that lubricant choice matters for couples trying to conceive naturally. Using a fertility-friendly option ensures you're not accidentally working against your conception efforts.

How long does one bottle of Conceive Plus last?

One bottle of Conceive Plus is relatively small in size but lasts a considerable amount of time with regular use. The exact duration depends on frequency of use, but many users report that a single bottle lasts several months, making it a cost-effective option for couples trying to conceive.

Does Conceive Plus cause any side effects or unusual sensations?

Conceive Plus is generally well-tolerated and does not cause strange sensations or adverse reactions for most users. It has a less sticky consistency than traditional lubricants, which many find more comfortable during intercourse. If you have any specific sensitivities or concerns, it's best to consult with your healthcare provider before use.

What should I do to prepare my body for conception besides using fertility lubricant?

Preparing for conception involves multiple factors including maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, managing stress, getting adequate sleep, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol. It's also important to start taking prenatal vitamins containing folic acid at least one month before trying to conceive and schedule a preconception checkup with your healthcare provider. Tracking your ovulation cycle can also help you time intercourse during your most fertile days.

Is Conceive Plus covered by insurance?

Most insurance plans do not cover Conceive Plus as it is considered an over-the-counter fertility aid rather than a medical treatment. However, it is relatively affordable and available for purchase without a prescription at most pharmacies and online retailers. If you have questions about your specific coverage, contact your insurance provider directly.
